Jens Lekman announces his new album Life Will See You Now, dropping February 17th via Secretly Canadian. This will be the fourth studio album for the Swedish singer/songwriter. Ewan Pearson (M83, The Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp) was also brought on to help produce Life Will See You Now.

Along with the announcement of Lekman’s fourth album, he has also released the video for feel-good single “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?.” The single features steel-pan samples from the 1978 album The Path by Ralph MacDonald, a percussionist with a stellar line-up of collaborations.

A press release for Lekman states that the video is portrayed as a vase that’s been shattered. Director of WTPYW video, Christopher Good, comments, “You’re trying to recreate it but can’t quite get the pieces to fit right anymore; it’s all a jumble now and won’t hold water any longer. A danceable nightmare of heartache.”

Life Will See You Now is currently available to preorder. You can catch Lekman on his headlining tour in February and March throughout North America with a full band, before heading overseas for March and April of 2017.
